How do i get my own card?

If you live in Hawkesbury, your library card and use of the library is FREE ! You must present some I.D. that shows your name and address. If you are under 14, your parents or caregivers have to sign your registration form.

What can i do with it?
Borrow cool books, movies, magazines or a museum pass
Download eBooks, eAudiobooks or eMagazines on your computer or mobile device
Read or listen to books on the Internet
Access online databases to help you with school projects
Learn more about loan periods, renewals & fees

Public Computers & iPads
Surf the Internet, do your homework or have fun on the computers or ipads at the library! Workstations with high-speed Internet access are available for the public during regular library hours. It is not necessary to reserve in advance; workstations are available on a first come, first serve basis.

Wireless access on personal devices is also available FREE at the library.

Visit a Museum
You can borrow special passes at the library to visit museums in the National Capital Region with your friends or your family. Participating museums include the Canadian Museum of Civilization, the Postal Museum, the Children’s Museum, the War Museum and the Science & Technology Museum. Reserve your pass today! Learn more
