Get a Library Card!


RESIDENTS

All residents of the town of Hawkesbury can use the basic services offered by the library for free. A "resident" is any person residing in the town of Hawkesbury. He or she must show proof of residence before obtaining a library card. This card is valid for one year and must be renewed thereafter.

Parents can obtain a card for their child. Children under 14 years old (or young adults without proof of residence) must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at registration time.


NON-RESIDENTS

Non-residents can enjoy the privileges reserved to the members when paying the annual rates established by the library:

RECIPROCAL BORROWING PRIVILEGES

The library also has an agreement with the Township of East Hawkesbury (Chute-à-Blondeau, Saint-Anne-de-Prescott, Saint-Eugène) allowing their residents free access. (proof of residence is required).


LOST CARDS

Members are responsible for all transactions on their card. They must notify the library if their card is lost or stolen. A new card will be issued. A replacement cost of $3.00 applies.
