Local members

All residents of the town of Hawkesbury can use the basic services offered by the library for free. A "resident" is any person residing in the town of Hawkesbury. He or she must show proof of residence before obtaining a library card

This card is valid for one year and must be renewed thereafter. A fee of $ 2.00 will be charged for replacing a lost card. Parents can obtain a card for their child. Children under 14 years old (or young adults without proof of residence) must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at registration time.

The library also has agreements with the Township of Champlain (Longueuil, Vankleek Hill, L'Orignal, Hawkesbury West) and the Township of East Hawkesbury (Chute-à-Blondeau, Saint-Anne-de-Prescott, Saint-Eugène) allowing their residents free access. (proof of residence is required).
